Full-Paper Submission Instructions
The workshop is a half-day event with invited speakers and oral and poster presentations. Papers will be limited to ten pages of Springer LNCS format .
All papers will be reviewed by at least two reviewers with a double blind policy. The review period will be begin after submission and decisions notified by 16th July 2025.
Papers will be selected based on relevance, significance and novelty of results, technical merit, and clarity of presentation.
Papers accepted for PIPPI will be published within the MICCAI workshop proceeding in a LNCS volume.
Submissions should be 10 pages or less including references, in the final LNCS paper template
Please also submit the following license-to-publish agreement alongside your camera-ready submission.
Please check the PIPPI 2025 program which presentation type has been assigned to you after publication acceptance.
Submission Page
- Please submit your work at our PIPPI 2025 Microsoft CMT here.
- The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Camera Ready Submission
- Please submit your camera ready version via https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/PIPPI2025/ before the 30th July 2025. You can extend your paper up to 12 pages.
- The publications will be published with Springer - Lecture Notes in Computer Science. Your submission as zip must contain:
- The final source files (e.g., .tex file, figures, .bib file, images ...)
- A final PDF file corresponding exactly to the final source files.
- Please incorporate carefully the reviewers‘ comments into your manuscript.
- Additionally, do not forget to remove the anonymization, add any acknowledgments (if applicable)
- Add the full name of the authors, their affiliation, their ORCID number (if applicable) and address, and at least the e-mail address of the corresponding author, following the LNCS Springer guidelines
- Please download the PIPPI 2025 Spring license-to-publish form, fill it out and submit it via CMT together with the camera ready zip file

- Please download the form here. Subsequently, the corresponding author please signs it by hand on behalf of all of the authors of the paper and uploads it separately in the CMT system.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The corresponding author must be available to carry out a proof check of the paper after it has been sent to Springer within 72 hours. The corresponding author cannot be changed once the paper and the copyright form have been sent to Springer.
Please note that for each paper at least one author needs to register for the workshop via the MICCAI registration system (Link).
Please note that this year PIPPI will be in-person only and will take place over half a day in the afternoon of 27th of September 2025. The room will be announced closer to the workshop date). A tentative program can be found here.
Oral Presentation Guidance
- Please follow the guidelines to prepare your oral presentation:
- MAX LENGTH OF THE TALK: 8mins + 2mins Questions
- FORMAT: Please provide the slides in advance in ppt format
- DEADLINE: 12th September 2025
- UPLOAD: Please provide us a download link to your slides. You can use a system of your choice (e.g. shared links of a cloud service, FTP or Wetransfer.com).
Poster Pitch Presentation and Preparation Guidance
Poster Boards will be available onsite at the conference venue. We will inform you as soon we received the location from the MICCAI Workshop Chairs.
- FORMAT: Printed in portrait A0 size, to fit the onsite poster boards
- POWER PITCH PRESENTATION: Please prepare a single-slide PPT or PDF in 16:9 format named with presentation_number-first_author_surname-powerpitch.ppt
- UPLOAD SLIDE: Please provide us a download link to your slide prepared by 12th of September 2025. You can use a system of your choice (e.g. shared links of a cloud service, FTP or Wetransfer.com).
- DEADLINE: 12th September 2025
Best Paper Award
The best paper will be selected on both the quality of the work and the presentation at the workshop by the session chairs. The winner will receive a best paper prize and corresponding certificate.
